I use my phone constantly throughout my day, and video is an important part of my workflow.The PygTech Magma Phone Grip Power Bank is rapidly becoming a useful part of my kit.I have a heavy Samsung S24 Ultra, and this grip mounts it quickly using the magnetic plate, and there's been no issues with slippage. The mounting plate can be detached from the Grip Handle/Power Bank, and used as a kickstand to prop your phone for watching content. It's totally unnecessary, but it's a cool feature to have!As a phone grip, it's easy to hold and it is grippy enough to not cause cramping from trying to manage a heavy device. The battery pack work well; it can extend my use for a good 4-5 hours of continuous recording, or a good day and a half of occasional use.The top of the grip has the focus, zoom and shutter controls; the cool thing is that it is magnetically connected, so you can pop it off if you want to set up a selfie shot and control it for photos or video.Overall, I've been using it for about two weeks now and it's proved to be very solid and well-designed. I like how well the parts fit together and are a breeze to use. This PygTech Phone Grip is a superior device!
I often feel awkward using my phone to take photos and videos. I feel like I either have to hold the phone with two hands or hold it in an awkward position in which I can reach the shutter or volume button. This allows the phone to be held in one hand and in a much more comfortable and less awkward position. The fact that it can charge you phone while in use is nice as it's still making itself useful between photos or videos. The buttons are detachable if you want to use it with a tripod and get in the photo yourself. There is a front Magsafe mount that allows attachment of a light. On top of all that, it functions as a convenient charging stand. It'll even function as a plug in / pass through charger. It only wirelessly charges at 5W, so don't expect fast charging.The package includes a compatibility chart for the buttons, which should have been included in the listing. It's only fully compatible with Chinese brands Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, and Oppo. I tested on a Pixel 8 and only the shutter button worked. I also tested on a Samsung s24 and only the shutter and zoom buttons worked. The zoom felt a bit slow, laggy, and has inconsistent response. It took a full 10 seconds to get to 20X zoom with video. The photo zoom was a little faster, but the full zoom range 0.6 to 100x took 52 seconds.
I really liked the product. Especially since it is 4 in 1. Most importantly, it is convenient and small, so it does not cause any problems.
I previously purchased a similar product from Ulanzi... It appears that it came out after upgrading to one level on FijiTech. The biggest advantage is that it has a battery function, is completely removable, and is very compact.
The disappointment is that in the case of Galaxy Ultra compared to iPhone, it may have a larger size, so it smells a little bad if it's cold in your hands. It's okay to hold it and film it with your hands, but it looks a bit uneasy when you use it with a tripod or selfie rod.
The auxiliary battery is really good, but it charges wirelessly well on the Galaxy and the use of the wireless remote control matches the description.
Fresh has a variety of color changes, is real, brighter than expected, and is thinner and lighter than expected.
In the case of black, the pearl pattern is a bit awkward and may look like dirted, but if it's going to work out, I wish it would be more glitter, and it would have been better if the flash would rotate 360 degrees rather than 180 degrees, but it's disappointing.
looks dirty, it’s unclear why these hooks are. The zoom does not work, although the instructions say that it should be on my scale. Not vertical, not balanced. Charging works every other time. an interesting device, but the performance pushed around all sides.
